The cold, damp air (8 degrees C) and a very chilly track was no place for the fuel classes.
They tried though, and Gary Page found his throttle stuck open due to icing. With the low
levels of traction on offer, this was the result. 30 years of driving experience (and some luck) prevented
serious damage.
